MCNEX’s human rights and responsible sourcing program includes due diligence on the source and chain of custody of 3TG in its global supply chain in order to prevent the inflow of funds to the criminal armed rebel group that have profited from mining whiled contributing to violence and exploitation of human rights.
- Definition of Conflict Minerals
- “Conflict minerals,” as defined by the US legislation, currently are the metals tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold, which are mined from conflict zone.
- Specified conflict zone : Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan, Central African Republic, Congo, Angola, Zambia, Tanzania, Brundi, Rwanda, Uganda.

- Mainly, it is to effectively mange use of conflict minerals to prevent the inflow of funds to the criminal armed rebel group that have profited from mining whiled contributing to violence and exploitation of human rights.

- We, MCNEX, annually verify the use of conflict minerals in all components and raw materials supplied by suppliers, including MCNEX ourselves, and identify the country of origin to prove that these four conflict minerals are not mined in the conflict zone.
In order to actively implement conflict mineral policies, the company may conduct due diligence on its suppliers.
