[ESG Focus] Bringing the Warmth of Technology to Society: MCNEX’s ‘Share the Warmth’ Initiative

In this season of cold winds, MCNEX, a specialist in smart imaging technology, is practicing ESG management by delivering warmth to the local community, going beyond technological innovation.

We are pleased to share the news of the ‘Briquette Sharing of Love’ volunteer activity held on November 18th in Hakik-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, along with the value of social contribution that MCNEX pursues under the vision of ‘Looking Together.’

1. Delivering Warmth to Energy-Vulnerable Neighbors in Winter

On the 18th, MCNEX partnered with the NGO Changemaker to conduct the ‘Briquette Sharing of Love’ volunteer activity. This initiative was made even more meaningful by the direct participation of our employees, who delivered a total of 2,400 briquettes to 8 households suffering from the burden of heating costs.

The briquettes delivered directly by our employees were more than just fuel; they were a sincere gift reflecting MCNEX’s commitment to coexisting with the local community.

2. ESG Management: A Path Accompanied by ‘People,’ Not Just ‘Technology’

The cameras and sensors created by MCNEX are core technologies for the era of smartphones, automobiles, and autonomous driving. However, our unwavering principle is that corporate growth is only complete when it accompanies the local community. Therefore, MCNEX’s ESG activities are not one-time events. Under the social contribution vision of ‘Looking Together,’ we continuously monitor areas in need and practice systematic sharing.

Environmental Protection (Environment):

Last October, we took the lead in local environmental purification through a ‘Plogging’ (picking up litter while jogging) campaign near the company.

Community Coexistence (Social):

We continue to provide regular support to ‘Monica’s House’ (a facility for single-mother families) and ‘Dongsimwon’ (a facility for disabled infants). Last December, we expanded our support with a special donation of 10 million KRW to Dongsimwon.

Various Sharing Activities:

In addition to scholarships, blood drives, and Kimchi sharing, we consistently conduct social contribution activities that leverage our core business essence, such as donating next-generation IoT cameras using our technology.
