MCNEX CEO Min Dong-wook Awarded the Order of Industrial Service Merit

Min Dong-wook, CEO of MCNEX, was awarded the Bronze Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit at the “2025 Industrial Complex Day” ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. He was recognized for his contributions to technological innovation based on industrial complexes, job creation, leadership in the Global Leading Companies Association, and efforts to foster mutual growth with the local community.

“Industrial Complex Day” is an annual event held to celebrate the achievements of industrial complexes, which have played a pivotal role in driving the national economy.

Since founding MCNEX, CEO Min Dong-wook has contributed to enhancing the status of Korea's component industry in the global value chain through more than 20 years of continuous R&D investment and technological innovation. MCNEX consistently supplies high-specification camera modules, automotive sensor modules, and electronic components to various advanced industries, including ICT and mobility.

By implementing smart factory construction, advanced manufacturing processes, and internalizing high-difficulty module assembly technology, MCNEX has achieved both quality improvement and productivity enhancement, securing a technology-centric competitive edge. As the first chairman of the Global Leading Enterprises Association, CEO Min Dong-wook has spearheaded diverse activities for the past 11 years, including mentoring programs, policy proposals, and dispatching overseas technology exchange delegations for 53 national industrial complexes and 325 member companies. He also helped establish a cooperation system among the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, government, and private companies and contributed to the widespread adoption of ESG management.

He has consistently strived to foster a sustainable industrial ecosystem through global benchmarking for digital transformation and AI manufacturing technology, nurturing next-generation business leaders, supporting scholarships for young talent, and donating to vulnerable groups.
